TRIBUTE TO BETH BULL, OUTGOING SVP/CFO
CFT extends deep appreciation to Beth Bull, who has retired after 14 years as a member of the CFT executive leadership team. Beth joined CFT as a senior vice president and chief financial and administrative office in mid-2008, after a 26-year career with Texas Instruments.
During her tenure at CFT, Beth has overseen accounting, financial planning and control, investments, human resources, information technology, and facilities during an unprecedented decade-plus of organizational growth. Beth has been instrumental in the exceptional growth and performance of CFT’s financial and investment management strategies that have further advanced CFT’s work in the community and bolstered the organization’s long-term financial health.
Beth was a leading champion of CFT’s expanding efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion both internally and externally, and served as a mentor to many staff members and as a close partner to CFT’s Board of Trustees.
“It’s difficult to express in words Beth’s full impact or distinguish that from what CFT has accomplished as an organization, because her role has been pervasive. Her thoughtful and tireless work and high standard of excellence across our work has positioned us for even greater impact in the months and years ahead. Beth’s legacy of leadership will truly be felt across the organization and community for decades to come,” said Dave Scullin, president and CEO.
The entire Communities Foundation of Texas board and staff wish Beth all the best in her retirement.
