Amazon returns as presenting sponsor of nation’s largest community day of giving.

This year’s North Texas Giving Day will take place September 21, 2023, with early giving commencing September 1. Donors will have 21 days to make gifts to their favorite nonprofits or find their passion areas, which are conveniently discoverable on the giving day website.

With a “Cheers to 15 Years” theme that plays on the day’s milestone year, early giving will include a focus on the 15 days from September 7-21 featuring a community event at SCHEELS Grandscape, Amazon Surprise and Delights, a mural reveal at Galleria Mall, and more. Details will be announced soon.

“In our fourteen years of North Texas Giving Day, North Texans have given more than half a billion dollars to the nonprofits that fuel our 20-county region,” said Monica Christopher, Senior Vice President, Chief Giving and Community Impact Officer. “We encourage nonprofits from the Brazos River to the Red River, from Cowtown to D-town, and the counties in between to be part of this regional celebration and sign up by August 18. We invite donors to help bring the energy and generosity that fuels the incredible work these organizations do every day to make North Texas a thriving community.”

For nonprofits to benefit from this year’s NTX Giving Day event — which generated more than $62 million for more than 3,200 North Texas nonprofits last year — they must register by August 18, 2023, at www.northtexasgivingday.org.

“Our goal is to be supportive of nonprofits across the entire region. I can’t think of another event that has this type of impact. The spirit of giving is alive and well in this community,” said Vickie Yakunin, Head of Community Affairs, Amazon.
