Palacios Area Fund’s History and Impact

What is The Palacios Area Fund?

Communities Foundation of Texas’ Palacios Area Fund (PAF) is a nonprofit community fund supported by donors, large and small, who want to support efforts to make Palacios a thriving community. PAF has played a significant role in the development and support of the Palacios community since its inception in 1981.

Initial investments were made through endowment funds at Communities Foundation of Texas who has efficiently and effectively managed and invested PAF assets, allowing PAF to provide grants and services for various local initiatives and nonprofit organizations, fostering improvements in areas such as education, health, infrastructure, and social services.
