As deputy director of programs for Educate Texas, Amy will focus on building successful CCRSM programs while overcoming challenges and barriers at the campus and district levels.

Prior to joining CFT, Amy spent seven years serving in many capacities for the Fort Worth Independent School District. Her roles included post secondary success specialist, early collegiate program coordinator, and, most recently as the post-secondary success coordinator overseeing 15 CCRSM schools and the district’s dual credit program.

Amy holds a bachelor’s in education from Mississippi State University and a master’s in education from the University of West Georgia. She is in the writing phase of her doctor of education program for organizational leadership, focusing on higher education, at Abilene Christian University. Amy also received her principal and superintendent certifications from Stephen F. Austin.
