As CFT’s scholarships coordinator, April provides exemplary customer service for fundholders and prospective donors, students, academic institutions and colleagues by supporting the administration of CFT’s scholarship application process. She manages grant payments and executes stewardship projects related to the foundation’s 60-plus scholarship funds.
Prior to joining CFT, April was the director of student success at Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, where she is a Hendrick Scholar alumna. She has an extensive background in college preparation and student success, working in academic advising at various DFW colleges and teaching art to children.
April holds bachelor’s in art and photography from Texas Woman’s University, and she is pursuing a master’s in family studies at Amberton University.
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE
She is a class-three graduate of the Plano ISD Leadership and Ambassador program and a Hendrick Scholar recipient. She served nine years as a volunteer, apprentice and staff member for the Fellowship of Christian University Students (F.O.C.U.S.).
