As the senior manager of marketing and communications, Alan is responsible for defining and leading strategies to elevate the activities, success and impact of CFT’s work in the community. He also collaborates with the CFT for Business, Collin County, Donor Relations & Services, and Philanthropy teams to develop marketing plans.

Prior to joining CFT, Alan was the community marketing specialist and later the executive producer of community impact at WFAA, the ABC affiliate in Dallas. He also spent more than a decade with the Texas Rangers in brand development and digital media production.

Alan holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and cinema-television from Southern Methodist University and a master’s in emerging media and communication from the University of Texas at Dallas. Additionally, he earned a graduate marketing certificate, a mobile marketing certificate and an entrepreneurship certificate from SMU.

Community Leadership / Board Service

Alan is the advisory board chair for Broadway Dallas and actively participates in key board committees. He is also a member of the executive committee of the Highland Park Alumni Association's board of directors.
