Katherine is deputy director for RGV FOCUS, leading the college readiness, access and completion work for the collective impact initiative in the Rio Grande Valley.
Prior to joining CFT in 2017, Katherine was the college and career readiness coordinator and CTE director for a small, rural district in the Rio Grande Valley. In that work, she led the dual enrollment, T-STEM, college readiness and access, and CTE programs for students in grades six through 12. Prior to that, Katherine taught Spanish and English as a second language for 10 years in Missouri and Florida.
Katherine holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri State University and master’s in Spanish linguistics from The University of Texas–Pan American.
