Lynette leads rural initiatives including the Rural CCMR Accelerator Program and, more broadly, the strategic development and inclusion of educational issues and opportunities in rural Texas communities for the Texas Impact Network.

Prior to joining CFT, Lynette spent 14 years working in public Texas universities and community colleges. Her roles focused on understanding and addressing challenges and opportunities for a broad range of underserved populations, working in both academic and student affairs settings.

Lynette holds a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in school psychology and a Ph.D. in higher education administration with a minor in educational psychology, all from the University of North Texas.
