As the chief information officer, Roger provides strategic leadership across all aspects of information technology for the organization. He is responsible for ensuring technology is an enabler for the people and the mission of CFT.

Roger began his career as a software developer for Texas Utilities creating electrical distribution applications. He held progressive leadership roles at Frito-Lay and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway before taking his first CIO position at a GE Capital company. He has since held CIO positions at several organizations including Atrium Companies, Brink’s and the American Heart Association. Prior to joining CFT, he led the IT team at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Society.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Louisiana Tech University. 

Community Leadership / Board Service

Roger has helped build multiple homes for Habitat for Humanity, and he served on the American Heart Association’s Dallas board before joining the organization’s staff.
