In her role as managing director, Weslie ensures the successful management of financial oversight and administration of resources for Educate Texas. She also oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures designed to promote financial stability, responsibility and transparency throughout all Educate Texas programs, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Prior to joining CFT, Weslie was CFO at Ability Connection Texas, a North Texas Giving Day nonprofit partner. While there, she oversaw resources fueled by both public and philanthropic funding. In addition to her financial responsibilities, Weslie led key functions including facilities, systems integration, and legal and human resources. Prior to her role at Ability Connection, Weslie was the finance and administration leader for YPO, a global nonprofit membership organization.

Weslie holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business.
