Trustee Connie Blass O’Neill is an active community volunteer who has served on numerous philanthropic boards.
In addition to her service at CFT she has extensive board experience through her chairmanships of the boards of Children’s Medical Center Foundation, The Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Highland Park Education Foundation. She is also a member of the board of trustees of Southern Methodist University, and serves on the Senior Source and Momentous Institute boards of directors.
She is co-chair of the executive committee of the Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education at SMU and is a member of the Children’s Health System of Texas board where she chairs the audit committee. Connie is a former president of the Junior League of Dallas, La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas, and she chaired the Crystal Charity Ball from 2010-2011. She is one of the first three female members of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.
Connie was previously a certified public accountant with Ernst & Young and is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs. Connie holds a bachelor’s of business administration from Southern Methodist University.
In 2012, Connie was named Citizen of the Year for University Park and received the 2014 Hearts of Texas Lifetime Achievement Award by Volunteer Center of North Texas.
Connie lives in Dallas and has three daughters and one son.
