As a community philanthropy officer, Dimple brings her expertise in health and wellness to lead grantmaking across CFT’s health portfolios. Her experience as a researcher and clinician aid in overseeing the broad range of investments, from laboratory research to community-based programming, that fall under her purview.

Dimple believes in the power of data and connection to drive positive outcomes and build thriving communities for all. Dimple demonstrates a keen interest in understanding the biological, environmental and social factors that contribute to health disparities and potential solutions to overcome them. She thrives in building community and connection among nonprofits through communities of practice and convenings.

Prior to joining CFT, Dimple completed her training in pediatrics and medical genetics at Washington University in St. Louis and Stanford University. She subsequently joined the division of medical genetics within the department of internal medicine at UT Southwestern.

Dimple was a board-certified assistant professor at UT Southwestern, division of medical genetics within the department of internal medicine before deciding to leave clinical practice and pursue other avenues to influence health outcomes.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE

Dimple is a passionate contributor to the community in the education space. She’s a 2018 graduate of Leadership ISD and held many leadership roles on the PTA and site-based decision-making committee at her children’s schools.

She served on the Texas Health Resources Foundation board and was elected to the Texas Health Resources Community Impact Dallas-Kaufman Leadership Council.
