As the director of property and facilities, Elspeth creates, implements and executes policies and procedures relating to real estate and CFT facilities. She also supervises operations of Caruth Homeplace, including renovations, public tours and management of leases and tenant relations for CFT-owned spaces leased to other foundations.
Prior to joining CFT, Elspeth spent almost nine years working at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, most recently as the vice president of facility operations. She was responsible for the day-to-day nonhorticultural operations of the garden, and she managed special projects including the 12 Days of Christmas exhibit.
Elspeth holds a bachelor of science from the University of Texas–Arlington.

At the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, Elspeth is on the stewardship and missions committees and she is a deacon.
