As deputy director of higher education programs, Fallan supports the Education-to-Career-Pathways Initiative and Increasing Dual Enrollment Access and Success (IDEAS) projects.
Prior to her current role, Fallan worked with the Higher Education Department at Educate Texas as a project manager, supporting projects within the P-TECH Expansion portfolio and managing the project charter’s goals, strategies and activities. She also has experience as an instructor and dean’s doctoral program assistant in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Arlington. Other roles in higher education include serving and advocating for students at various institutions, including Louisiana State University and Penn State University.
Fallan holds bachelor’s degrees in business management and African-American studies from the University of Alabama, a master’s in higher education administration from Louisiana State University and a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy from the University of Texas at Arlington
