Gunjan Jain

Gunjan Jain is one of the owners of Access Healthcare Services USA, LLC, and currently serves as the acting controller for the company and its international operations. Access Healthcare is an outsourcer of healthcare information technology and business process related work with offices in US, India, and Philippines. In addition, she is also one of the founders of Laurus Edutech, one of India’s leading vocational training companies, which will train over 80,000 students in India over 200 locations this year.

She held various finance and accounting roles including finance director at Hyatt International Hotels in Chicago, as well as the financial controller for Vision Healthsource that eventually was sold to Perot Systems.

Gunjan is a graduate of the University of Delhi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession in India. She also holds a CPA certification in the U.S. and completed Harvard Business School’s Governing for Nonprofit Excellence program.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and her two daughters, as well as reading and travelling around the world learning about different cultures.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE

Gunjan has been involved with various nonprofits and most recently served The Global Fund for Children (GFC). She has been involved with GFC for over a decade, first as a part of the Dallas Leadership Council, then as a board member and now as the chair of the global board. GFC invests in small grassroots organizations that transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. Over the years, it has helped over 600 organizations and touched the lives of more than 10 million children over 78 countries.

Gunjan also created “Kids Against Hunger” for the North Texas Food Bank, a new volunteer program geared toward children ages 7-9; helping them understand the fight against hunger. She served on the Capital Campaign Committee of the North Texas Food Bank which raised $55 million to increase its capacity from serving 60 million meals to 90 million meals in North Texas. In addition, she served on the Capital Campaign Committee for the Lamplighter School that recently raised $15 million for a world class STEM facility in Dallas.
