Jeri joined CFT as a donor relations officer in 2018 after years of dedicated community building in Collin County. She works to further connect charitably minded individuals, families and businesses with their philanthropic passions through strategic giving and excellent service. Jeri finds great joy in connecting those who want to make meaningful impact with community needs and opportunities.

Jeri holds a bachelor’s in secondary education from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s in educational administration and supervision from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She has over 12 years of experience as an educator, with eight years as a Plano ISD teacher.

Jeri is a graduate of Leadership Plano, Leadership North Texas and Leadership Texas. In 2019, Local Profile magazine identified Jeri as Collin County Woman of the Year. In 2023, Jeri recieved the Spirit of Judy Drotman Award through the ArtCentre of Plano.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE

Jeri serves as the school board secretary for Plano ISD and is a Plano ISD Education Foundation board member. Recently, Jeri was selected to participate in the Leadership Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Class of 2024.

As a member of Junior League of Collin County (JLCC), Jeri was a creator and founder of Sci-Tech Discovery Center and has served as a strategic director for the JLCC board. She is past president of Plano Youth Leadership.

Jeri was a top finalist for Local Profile’s 2019 Champions of Change Ally Award and currently serves on the Texas Health Resources Community Impact Board. Additionally, she was named Plano’s Citizen of the Year in 2020.
