Rodesia Scott

As a community engagement specialist for CFT, Rodesia specializes in developing subject matter expertise on critical community issues. Her role requires a deep understanding of the local and regional landscape of nonprofits, activities, projects and funders. She actively identifies opportunities to align with and enhance CFT’s projects and initiatives.

Externally, she is a prominent representative of the foundation, fostering positive and authentic relationships with nonprofit organizations and community stakeholders to advance diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. She engages with civic and business leaders to elevate the community’s perception of CFT’s staff and contributions toward enhancing DEI initiatives.

Prior to joining CFT, Rodesia was a full-cycle recruiter at Microsoft, managing the entire recruitment process to secure top talent for various roles. Before that, she spent 14 years in the U.S. Navy, rising to the rank of chief quartermaster.
