Dallas Art Therapy


Dallas Art Therapy strives to provide art therapy in Dallas for free or low-cost to participants. They are currently seeking four board members to help with leadership and organization development. 

Dallas Branch of the International Dyslexia Association


The mission of the Dallas Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is to advocate, educate, and support those with dyslexia or other related reading disorders. Dallas IDA provides education through a monthly speaker series, social media posts, and a large conference in February. Dallas IDA provides financial need-based scholarships for students to receive structured literacy therapy and present dyslexia information sessions to the community.

Dallas Furniture Bank


The Dallas Furniture Bank (DFB) gifts gently used furniture to individuals transitioning out of homelessness, escaping homes in crisis, and fleeing natural disasters.

Dallas International School


Dallas International School educates students of all backgrounds to contribute to a dynamic world with its internationally renowned curriculum, multiple language instruction, and exposure to diverse cultural views. They are looking for 3-5 board members who have legal, real estate, debt restructuring, and strategic planning experience.

Dallas Pets Alive Young Professionals


Dallas Pets Alive is on a mission to promote and provide the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals in North Texas.  

Dallas Pets Alive is launching a Young Professionals program and is in search of board members to join the inaugural group.

Dallas SPARK!


SPARK! helps children from all socioeconomic backgrounds increase their confidence, problem-solving skills, and academic performance, enabling them to become tomorrow's innovative, empowered adults. We do this through an environment that, combined with creative programming, inspires minds, builds confidence, and shapes the future for all children.

Deaf Action Center


Deaf Action Center acts as both a resource and a champion for those who are deaf or hard of hearing through the following: senior citizens program, technology referral, ASL classes, a 100-unit apartment complex, interpreting services, advocacy support, and education transitions services. They are currently seeking four board members to help Deaf Action Center reach spaces that have been traditionally inaccessible to the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Diakonia Ministries provides hope to disadvantaged and homeless women and children of our community by ministering to the total person — body, soul, and spirit.

Echo Theatre


Founded in 1998, Echo Theatre champions the diverse voices of women+ creatives, solely producing plays by women-identifying artists. They acknowledge there is a diverse group of people who identify as women+ and welcome them to their stage, their production table, their board room and their audience.
