Community Response Fund
Palacios Area Fund reached out to businesses and members of the community to come together to support recovery efforts from COVID-19. With your donations, we provided support to essential workers and other non-profits in Palacios.
Essential Workers

The employees at
Lowe’s Market in Palacios were treated to lunch certificates for their hard work and dedication during this difficult time. We appreciate these men and women for keeping our local grocery store open and stocked for business.
Local Chef, Carlos Duran of Duran’s Catering Service, pitched in to help Palacios Area Fund provide a delicious lunch to the
Palacios Community Medical Center staff. They have done an outstanding job keeping our community informed and safe.
Area Youth
Palacios Area Fund teamed up with
South Texas Nuclear Project to donate much needed school supplies to local students as they headed back to school. Pam Oliver, Palacios Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, coordinated the effort.
Palacios Area Fund presented a check to the
Boys and Girls Club of Palacios to help cover expenses for needed supplies related to COVID-19.
