Public parks and greenspaces

Since our founding in the 1950s, we’ve been dedicated to providing safe, clean, and accessible greenspaces, aiming to advance equity and foster thriving communities. Since 2019, we’ve awarded over $8 million in park-related grants, with recent investments focusing on greenspace initiatives in or near South Dallas, West Dallas, and the Medical District. The majority of these parks will open between 2024 and 2025.
