What are the fees associated with a business-advised fund?

A $5,000 minimum contribution is required to open a fund at CFT. CFT’s fees offset the costs associated with administering a fund and help cover professional services while sustaining the work of the foundation in the community. These costs include staff time devoted to investment oversight, grant making and record keeping. Fees are reviewed annually and assessed monthly. CFT may adjust fees as appropriate.

What is a community foundation?

A community foundation is a tax-exempt public charity serving thousands of people who share a common interest of building a thriving community for all.
