Eddie Laws Construction Education Memorial Fund

To honor our dear friend and colleague, Eddie Laws, who passed away in May of 2021, Texas Roof Management INC has established The Eddie Laws Construction Education Memorial Fund. This fund is a donor-advised fund administered through the Communities Foundation of Texas located in Dallas. The objective of this fund is to provide construction education for deserving students.
The institutions where the monies may be directed to students include:
- Dallas County College Northlake Campus
- Construction Education program
- Tarrant County College South Campus
- Construction Management Technology Program
- Collin College
- Construction Management Program
- University of North Texas
- Construction Management Degree
- Various industry programs that promote construction education
The fund has been seeded with an initial donation to ensure a base of funding to grow and distribute for construction education.
It is the intent, that this fund will create a legacy for Eddie that is representative of the life he lived and the contributions he made to the construction industry, as well as to all who were fortunate to have known him.
