The Time for Change is Now

A Message from Communities Foundation of Texas

Communities Foundation of Texas and Educate Texas join millions of other voices across America in condemning the violent attacks against Asian Americans across the country, including the senseless murders that occurred this week in Georgia. We stand with all communities and especially now the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. We mourn the tragic loss of life.

Helping Our Community Weather the Storm

Ways you can help your neighbors in need as they weather the winter storm

Our North Texas community faced record-low temperatures along with snow and ice over the weekend. With rolling power outages and many in dire need of temporary housing and other resources to stay safe and warm, CFT is especially thankful for our nonprofit partners who are on the frontlines of serving our community. While temperatures are slowly beginning to warm and power is being restored, we know there is still great need amongst our neighbors who remain in crisis and the nonprofits working to support them.

The secret sauce in philanthropy? Collaboration.

This year has proven that no single donor can solve pressing problems alone.

When I think about what matters most in working to achieve our vision of thriving communities for all, it’s recognizing that this vision is only possible through deep and broad collaboration, relationships, partnerships and trust.
