Seeking financial assistance? Here are some organizations that can help.

While we don’t provide financial assistance directly to individuals, we know of many nonprofit organizations who are able to provide financial assistance with rent, utility bills or other needs. Here is a list of some of those groups, including a link to the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Rental Assistance Collaborative, with 17 nonprofits committed to providing rent and bill assistance.  Please feel free to reach out if you need additional information.

North Texas Funders Come Together to Provide Essential Support to Nonprofits Leading COVID-19 Recovery


As the U.S. has emerged from the pandemic lockdown and moved toward navigating around the virus, there has been a lot of discussion about lasting impacts — especially in relation to how local funders and nonprofits continue to work together to support our communities most in need. In January 2021, The Dallas Foundation, Communities Foundation of Texas, and Lyda Hill Philanthropies came together to partner with Catchafire to bring time-sensitive, virtual support to more than 300 nonprofit organizations in the North Texas region.
