Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity is looking for board members to serve terms of two years. Focus areas of potential board members include: community involvement/engagement, fundraising, nonprofit, finance, and governance. Emphasis is placed on candidates who are representative of communities served by Dallas Habitat, including communities of color and the southern sector of Dallas.
Board members are required to make a minimum gift of $1,000 per year, attend a minimum of 75% of Board of Directors meetings and at least one home dedication per year. The board meets quarterly. Additional responsibilities may be required.
