Dallas Pets Alive is on a mission to promote and provide the resources, education and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals in North Texas.
Dallas Pets Alive is launching a Young Professionals program and is in search of board members to join the inaugural group. Anyone interested in supporting our mission to make Dallas a no-kill city is welcome.

Dallas Pets Alive Young Professionals (DPAYP) is looking for three new board members to begin terms as soon as possible. DPAYP is open to young professionals aged 21-40, and an annual membership year runs from July 1 through June 30.
Annual membership fees vary – $25 for students, $75 for couples (residing in the same household), and $50 for individuals.

The DPAYP Leadership council is expected to:
- Conduct monthly Leadership council meetings
- Conduct quarterly full-membership formal meetings
- Commit to a minimum give/get fundraiser requirement of $1,000 for DPAYP initiatives
- Attend all DYAYP events
- Purchase tickets to, and attend, all DPA and DPAYP signature events
- Obtain one item for a silent auction or raffle use at the DPAYP signature fundraising event
