The North Texas Disability Chamber serves as regional leaders in advancing accessibility, equity, and disability inclusion in North Texas. Its mission is to promote a more cohesive, transparent, informed, regional, member-based, cross-disability community via events and education hosted at accessible locations across North Texas.
The organization’s guiding pillars are threefold: Community Building, Community Education, and Interactive Engagement between People with Disabilities (PWDs) and People without Disabilities (PWOD). North Texas Disability Chamber’s five values that drive its guiding pillars are: Community, Collaboration, Confidence, Equity, and Inclusion.

The North Texas Disability Chamber is looking for three new board members to begin terms now. The organization welcomes applicants with an understanding of the North Texas region and disability community. The board needs:
- Business executives specializing in DEIA, public affairs, marketing, and communications.
- A practicing attorney specializing in employment and/or business law

- Meet monthly with the board with exceptions in July and December (plus any special, called meetings)
- Support the mission of the organization through strategic leadership, governance, and advocacy
- Build a working relationship with other board members, chamber partners, and members to meet the organization’s goals and objectives

Board service terms may last a maximum of 2 four-year sessions.
