The advisory board meets quarterly four times a year for approximately 1-1.5 hours. Currently, they are meeting via Zoom, but may host some of the meetings at the Downtown Dallas campus or visit fellow advisory member workplaces. In addition, board members should budget additional time to support the end of year fundraising campaign as well as initiatives to support the growth of the Dallas campus.

The board is currently 50% women and 50% people of color. The board should be a strong representation of the learners they train locally – 89% people of color, 40% women and 30% young adults. They currently have one alumni on their board and plan to onboard another alumni soon.
