Founded in September 2019, Segue Living Center’s mission is to help provide support services, an emergency shelter, and a homeless prevention program (H.O.M.E.sm – Helping Others Meet Expenses) for families with children in a faith-based environment. Segue’s action objectives are awareness, aid, and advocacy. The center collaborates with a network of agencies, churches, businesses, and nonprofits to help combat and eradicate homelessness in Tarrant and Parker Counties. Additionally, Segue Living Center’s founder, Janet Y. Williams, is an advocate for the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition.

The board is seeking two new members to serve one-year terms beginning after board members attend orientation and training. Segue Living Center’s board of directors aims for diversity, professionalism, faith, and various skill sets and board experience.

- Attend at least 75 percent of monthly board meetings.
