Seniors’ Pet Assistance Network (SPAN) serves low-income Dallas County seniors, age 67 or older who have pets as companions. SPAN supports the companion relationship by supplying the pet food and paying for basic veterinary care such as annual exams, vaccines and preventatives for heartworms and fleas.
The organization’s support helps ensure the seniors can keep their companion animals healthy and keep them for as long as possible, typically throughout the lifespan.
If you are interested in serving on this board, please contact Laurie Jennings at ljennings@phpc.org or jenningshouse@aol.com
