Serving With A Purpose was founded on servanthood! Their mission is to serve with purpose by equipping, educating, and empowering individuals, families, and the community with the life skills needed to expand and create opportunities, break generational curses and strongholds, and set a solid foundation to be all God called them to be. They provide day-to-day necessities and resources to families (food, clothing, toiletries, etc.) as well as educational and life skill classes for kids and adults, with a focus on adult literacy.

Serving With A Purpose is looking for board members from all ethnicities and walks of life who have a passion and heart to serve others. They are in need of board members that are skilled in finance and grants (fundraising), coordinating, education, organizational skills, planning, and marketing. These skills are not required but strongly preferred.

- Board members are expected to be present at all board meetings (once a month)
- All board members are expected to make a personally meaningful financial contribution OR to raise the funds through personal & professional networks
- Board members are expected to participate in all fundraising activities and special events

The board meets 12 times per year. Attendance at all meetings is required.
