Soaring Eagle Center

  • Soaring Eagle Center provides opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) to develop friendships, continue their education, receive state assistance, and stay active in the community. We fulfill our mission through offering a continuing education day program, Special Olympic competitive and non-competitive sports, and accessibility to state funded resources that support adults with IDDs.

  • The board is seeking three new members to serve a one year term. Soaring Eagle Center aims for interested and passionate board members of diverse backgrounds, skills, and experience levels. Board members provide direction to lead the organization toward adopting sound, ethical and legal governance, and financial management policies. The board encourages members to access personal and professional networks to help secure financial contributions to the organization.

    • Attend 75 percent of meetings; Zoom participation is available.
    • Be accessible when needs arise.
  • The board meets quarterly for three hour meetings.
