Trauma Support Services of North Texas

  • The mission of Trauma Support Services of North Texas (TSSNT) is to provide personalized, compassionate care for those affected by trauma. TSSNT provides trauma-informed therapy and services to victims of crime and other forms of trauma at no cost.

The organization’s training institute also provides free education in trauma counseling to licensed professionals.

Understanding that survivors of psychological trauma often require long-term therapy, TSSNT’s motto is to do “Whatever it takes, for as long as it takes” for clients to function well at home, work, school, or play.

If you are interested in serving on this board, please contact Traci Beeson-Lane at traci@tssnt.org

  • TSSNT is seeking a CPA to replace its current treasurer. TSSNT would also like to expand beyond one person to create a finance committee that works with staff and an outsourced bookkeeper.

TSSNT would also like to start a fundraising and public relations committee. This could be one external affairs committee that grows into two separate committees over time.

    • Attend monthly, remote meetings lasting about an hour and a half.
    • Donate personally and participate in relationship-building for fundraising efforts.
    • While there are no term limits, TSSNT would prefer a commitment of at least one year.
  • TSSNT is looking for three new board members to begin terms anytime.
