Twelve Hills Nature Center is committed to restoring the Blackland Prairie ecosystem of five acres. By working with North Texas Master Naturalists and community members to help provide local schools and the community with a place to learn about and serve nature, Twelve Hills is helping cultivate conservation ethics for generations to come.

Ideal members will bring their dedication and experience to help grow the organization.
Specifically:
- Experience with nonprofits assisting in fundraising and development, group management, and public relations would be helpful, but not required
- Open to potential leadership positions in the future
-
- Board members are expected to meet the third Tuesday at 6:30 PM in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
- Board members are expected to participate in public events such as major fundraisers, National Night Out and Oak Cliff Earth Day, when they resume.
