Business lawyer Mike Tankersley hires lawyers who will never work a single day for him. He and his wife, Karen, also an attorney, approached Communities Foundation of Texas seeking to translate their business law practices into courtroom assistance for the less fortunate. We helped them set up a donor-advised fund providing two years of support for a new, full-time lawyer at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. It’s a hire with a higher purpose, and Communities Foundation of Texas helped make it happen.
