As operations and program manager for CFT, Joanna is responsible for operational oversight at Kaleidoscope Park, including managing landscape, security and janitorial contracts and implementing programming in the park to form a place for community in Collin County.

Prior to joining CFT, she was the operations manager with Dallas Arboretum, supervising event setup, maintenance and upkeep of the garden as well as special projects, including vendor markets, Artscape, Food and Wine, the Christmas Village and more. Prior to that, Joanna was the director of child nutrition for the Beaumont Independent School District, responsible for nutrition programs for 27 schools and over 20,000 students, as well as supervising construction and renovation projects for all school kitchens.

Joanna holds an associate degree in culinary arts and a bachelor’s in dietetics from Lamar University. She is working toward a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in leadership.

I love to learn and am always looking for ways to continue my education. In addition, when not doing homework, I can be found working in my yard or paddling around White Rock Lake in my kayak.
