Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is a global educational nonprofit focused on bringing the power of entrepreneurship to youth in low-income communities. NFTE’s rigorous programs are taught by a highly trained Teacher Corps, and NFTE students are supported by a diverse Volunteer Corps drawn from the local community, including business leaders and entrepreneurs. Since its founding more than 30 years ago, NFTE has trained thousands of teachers and educated more than a million young people worldwide.

The board is seeking three new members passionate about empowering underserved communities to help NFTE teach them self-reliance and the business skills necessary to become successful entrepreneurs.
Specific needs include:
- Experience organizing and managing fundraisers
- Community engagement and awareness of local events and opportunities to establish connections with local institutions and members

- Board members are required to contribute at least $10,000 in the form of give OR get, coming from either a personal contribution or corporate and individual contributions
- Board members meet quarterly in person; phone calls as needed to work on committee responsibilities
