The Henry Jackson Crook Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to deserving and committed families who lack the funds to provide their children the benefits of an independent school education. The Henry Jackson Crook Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Henry Crook who died from SIDS in December of 2009. Greg and Nancy knew that their son Henry would have received a private school education and wanted to help others have the same experience. Under the guidance of Communities Foundation of Texas, the fund was started in 2010. Our first three recipients have attended and graduated from the Episcopal School of Dallas, and in 2018 we began a partnership with the St. Philip’s School in the Fair Park area of Dallas. After graduating from St. Philip’s in eighth grade, scholarship recipients receive $5000 towards tuition for each year of high school. At the end of the year, the scholarship committee votes on renewal for the coming year.
