Alfreda Norman

Trustee Alfreda Norman brings deep experience in banking and community leadership to the board. Alfreda has vast subject-matter expertise on the issue of building economic stability for low-income working families, which is an important discretionary area of CFT’s grantmaking.

Alfreda Norman is a senior vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, leading the Dallas Fed’s communications and public outreach programs. She joined the bank in 2004 as a community development officer. Before that, she was a vice president at Bank of America.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s Graduate School of Retail Banking.

This year, Afreda received the Dallas Regional Chamber’s 2022 ATHENA Award. Alfreda is married to Joe Norman, and they have two children.

In addition to her service to CFT, Alfreda is affiliated with many cultural and civic organizations, including Big Thought, The Dallas Assembly, North Texas Asset Funders Network, Southwestern Medical Foundation, Executive Women’s Roundtable and the Dallas Mayor’s Task Force on Poverty.
