Katie Kuehl is Communities Foundation of Texas’ officer of scholarships and nonprofit funds. Joining CFT in September 2016, Katie oversees CFT’s scholarship program and manages CFT’s nonprofit funds including agency funds, designated funds and fiscal sponsorship funds.
Additionally, Katie provides high-level support for philanthropic advising and consulting efforts for CFT fund holders and partners, including nonprofit research, fundraising campaign management and reporting.
Prior to joining CFT in 2016, Katie was as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, working as the children’s program associate at Raphael House, a privately funded family shelter in San Francisco. This experience working in direct service with homeless families and children informs her work at CFT.
Katie holds a bachelor’s in mathematics and minor in accounting from Spring Hill College.

Katie is a 2023 graduate of the Dana Juett Residency through Social Venture Partners Dallas. She’s also a member of Junior League of Dallas.
