Stefanie Valenzuela

Stefanie is CFT’s Senior Analyst, Philanthropy. Stefanie works behind the scenes in the philanthropy department, looking for efficiencies and improvements to how the department works, including liaising across the Foundation among other departments to ensure alignment with others’ goals and improved operations. Stefanie provides support and planning for grant application intake and completing portfolio-level grants data for macro review, writes grant agreements and vets complex donor-advised fund and discretionary grants. In addition, Stefanie is the database administrator for our online grant application intake, review, evaluation and tracking system. When bequests are left to us, Stefanie researches the donors interests and giving over their lifetime to ensure we honor the fundholder’s intent. She also supplies the team with Data Analytics and Visualizations.

Before joining CFT in 2013, Stefanie worked for five years at The Meadows Foundation, eventually assuming the role of senior administrative assistant to the grants department. Stefanie serves on the Board of Promise House.

Stefanie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from the University of North Texas.
