Collin County Impact Fund 1

Making impact in Collin County through CFT with a dedicated fund

Created in 2017, the Collin County Impact Fund was created to ensure that there will always be dedicated resources to support nonprofit organizations addressing the most pressing needs and promising opportunities for Collin County.

Thanks to the generosity of Collin County donors who matched CFT’s initial gift, CFT began making grants from the fund in 2018. Over $200,000 has since been granted to 14 nonprofits across Collin County through annual grantmaking.

A deep commitment to Collin County.

Communities Foundation of Texas established the Collin County Impact Fund with an initial gift of $500,000 to build dedicated support for nonprofits serving this growing community. Now with 1.8 million in charitable assets, grants from this endowed fund provide support for nonprofit organizations addressing the most pressing needs and promising opportunities for the communities of Collin County.

To maintain the vitality of Collin County’s growing communities, CFT is looking for committed, community-minded, forward-thinking individuals and businesses to join us in growing the Collin County Impact Fund! While the fund is currently able to grant over $50,000 annually, building this fund will help ensure there will always be dedicated charitable resources to provide support and funding for our most vulnerable citizens for generations to come.
