Palacios Area Fund, established on March 23, 1981, is a tax exempt, nonprofit community foundation supported by donors, large and small, who care about the community of Palacios and its future. Over the years, PAF has awarded several sizable grants as well as many small grants to lend support when and where it was needed. The original gifts to establish the Palacios Area Fund and supporting funds were made by the Trull and Herlin families of Palacios. These gifts were designated for improving the quality of life for the citizens of Palacios, Texas.
Communities Foundation of Texas efficiently and effectively manages and invests our assets. The Distribution Committee, made up of local citizens, makes recommendations for using the funds wisely.
