Deaf Action Center


Deaf Action Center acts as both a resource and a champion for those who are deaf or hard of hearing through the following: senior citizens program, technology referral, ASL classes, a 100-unit apartment complex, interpreting services, advocacy support, and education transitions services. They are currently seeking four board members to help Deaf Action Center reach spaces that have been traditionally inaccessible to the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Diakonia Ministries provides hope to disadvantaged and homeless women and children of our community by ministering to the total person — body, soul, and spirit.

Echo Theatre


Echo Theatre forges gender parity within the canon of global theater by producing, promoting, and preserving the work of women+. They are looking for four board members who are energized by their mission, who want to advance the impact of their programming, and enjoy learning, growing, and evolving together. 

Erial's College Mission


Erial’s College Mission was founded to donate school supplies and scholarships to high school seniors who are starting college during the fall semester. The organization wants to help with education disparities, making the college experience go more smoothly for students by providing them with essential needs.

F.L.Y Girlz Academy Inc.


F.L.Y. Girlz Academy Inc. is a youth mentoring program for girls ages 7-18 years old that develops young girls to prepare for the future of our world. Our goal for F.L.Y. Girlz is to aspire and achieve their full potential with the four pillars of the "F.L.Y. Girlz" standard: Royalty, Respect, Growth, and Purpose.

Families to Freedom’s mission is to transport victims of domestic abuse to safety. Survivors arrive at shelters across North Texas and family homes across the U.S.

Family Promise’s mission is to help families with children experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Its vision is to be a nation in which every family has a home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a better future.

Fine Arts Chamber Players


Fine Arts Chamber Players' mission is to enrich and enhance the quality of life for North Texans, especially families and children, through free classical music concerts and educational activities. They are seeking three board members with the following skillsets: IT/infrastructure, communications/public relations, education, and program management.

Friends of PL Prep


Friends of PL PREP is an independent foundation created by passionate parents and active community members to raise funds to support programs and services that enhance the learning environment at Personalized Learning Preparatory at Sam Houston (PL Prep). PL Prep is a PK3-5th grade campus located in the heart of Oak Lawn just minutes from Downtown Dallas.
